Imagine.
Imagine how the Clans felt when they had to leave their homes. They had lived there for countless years, fighting over territory and generally living their lives. The first Clan leaders, Thunderstar, Riverstar, Windstar and Shadowstar founded the Clans long ago, and now all this is about to be lost. Fourtrees is gone.

The journey loomed before them, guided by the words of StarClan's chosen. The great Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw, Crowfeather and Stormfur are still honoured by the Clans today. They led the Clans to the mountains, where they said the Tribe lived. But no, the Clans found that the Tribe was gone. The cave of Rushing Waters was empty. For a while, the Clans stayed there, educated by Stormfur in the ways of hunting in the mountains.

Upon further exploration, the Clans found something else. A valley, huge and green, where they stayed forever. There is a river and a small lake, deciduous forests and pines, rough scrub land and stony outcrops. A white tree in the centre is where StarClan can contact them, and four boulders above the valley is where the Clans meet. The Clans have found their home.

But there's a complication. There always is. The Tribe has returned, but are few and far between. They were never saved from Sharptooth, and fled the mountain. They live around a great lake, further away. But then, the badgers struck them, and hardly any survived. Those who did survive were plagued by a terrible sickness, the deadly Redcough. They have brought the Clans to their doom. Within days, the Tribe is no more then a memento, a memory of what used to live there. Redcough lives on, slaying dozens of cats each week. And, what's more, another Tribe has awoken.

The Tribe of Endless Night lived in a series of caves under the valley after they were driven away by the Tribe of Rushing Water, the Tribe that died from the badger attack. The Tribe of Endless Night is a group of bloodthirsty cats who live by no rules, and when the Tribe died, Endless Night escaped from their tunnels. They found the Clans, where they used to live. In a bid to win back their hunting grounds, the Tribe of Endless Night wage war on the Clans. Lead by a mysterious dictator known as Slash of Claw at defenceless Throat, or Clawslash, they are determined to reclaim their home.
